Built-in Fire Protection
Every WVU-48 leaves the factory with a complete, pre-piped Ansul® R-102 wet-chemical system— tank, cartridge, sensors, nozzles and manual pull station. Simply have your local licensed Ansul agent charge, tag and connect the system on site, and you’re inspection-ready.

Compliance & Operating Parameters

- A minimum of 800 CFM fresh make-up air to the room is recommended to dilute residual aromas

Purchase the WVU-48 on the same P.O. with approved Star, Lang, Toastmaster, Wells, APW, Bakers Pride or Southbend electric equipment and receive a FREE 2-year parts & labor warranty on both the hood and equipment. Alternatively, add part # UVWARR at the time of purchase to extend the hood’s warranty to 2 years.
Fire-suppression charging & tagging must be completed by a licensed Ansul agent. Installation must comply with NFPA 96, NEC and all local jurisdictional codes.
