Wells VCS2000 Ventless Griddle Station
Model VCS2000 (WVG136 Cabinet Base + 22" × 18" Electric Griddle)Bring full-size griddle production to spaces where traditional hoods, roof penetrations and ductwork are impossible. The Wells VCS2000 combines a powerful 22" × 18" thermostatic griddle, a fully self-contained 4-stage filtration hood and an ANSUL® R-102 fire-suppression system—everything you need to cook safely, legally and profitably almost anywhere.
True Ventless Technology
- Certified Type-1 recirculating hood (UL710B) – no ties to building ductwork.
- 4-stage filtration: stainless baffle, fire-rated fiberglass pre-filter, HEPA + carbon charcoal pack, final exhaust.
- 800 CFM vertical discharge keeps kitchens comfortable while operating at a quiet 68 dBA.
- Air-flow sensors & illuminated filter-life indicator maintain peak performance and grease removal.
- Interlock automatically disables griddle if filters are removed, clogged or a fire is detected.
Heavy-Duty Electric Griddle
- 22" × 18" (559 × 457 mm) cooking surface for breakfast plates, burgers, vegetables and more.
- Two independent thermostatic zones deliver precise 200 – 450 °F control.
- Removable stainless splash guard and front grease drawer speed up end-of-shift cleanup.
- Optional chrome-plated or grooved surfaces available (grooved not available with chrome).
Self-Contained Fire Protection
- Factory-installed ANSUL® R-102 wet-chemical system with fusible links & front-mounted manual pull.
- Complies with NFPA 96 Chap 13 – only on-site charge & tag by licensed ANSUL agent required.
Operator-Friendly Design
- Stainless cabinet base with dual-hinged storage doors keeps utensils and supplies close at hand.
- Two adjustable 6"–8" front legs & two 6" rear casters provide both mobility and stability.
- Fits through a standard 36" doorway—perfect for leased or historic spaces.
