Installation & Use Notes

  • Install under a vented hood; 0" side clearance to non-combustibles (10" for rear / charbroiler units).
  • 6" legs or casters required for installation on combustible floors.
  • For flex-hose connections use ¾" I.D. hose compliant with ANSI Z 21.69 and a restraining device.
  • Limit cookware ≥ 12" Ø to the rear burners to prevent excess heat on the front rail.
Warranty Reminder: Damage caused by improper installation, poor water quality, or misuse (including sheet pans over the griddle or oversized cookware on front burners) is not covered under the Southbend one-year parts & labor warranty.
