Oversized cookware (12 inches in diameter or larger) can be used, but it is highly recommended to limit its use to the rear portion of the range. Using oversized cookware on the front portion that overlaps the front rail can trap excessive heat and cause premature damage to components, which is not covered under warranty.
The Southbend Ultimate 4602AA-3T comes with a limited warranty covering one year for both parts and labor from the date of original purchase. The warranty term, however, will not exceed 18 months from the date of purchase from the factory and is valid for installations in the continental United States & Canada only.
Yes, when cleaning charbroiler areas, DO NOT use sheet pans to cover the grates while the burners are on. This reflects too much heat into non-flued areas and can cause irreparable damage not covered under warranty.
