Engineered for high-volume, high-heat kitchens, the Southbend Ultimate 48" restaurant range combines the searing power of four patented 40 000 BTU Pyromax™ burners with the precision of two 33 000 BTU star/​sauté burners. A 45 000 BTU standard oven and a full-height stainless cabinet base deliver the versatility busy service lines demand, while an integrated 22 ½" flue riser shelf keeps plates, pans and spices right where you need them.

Performance & Convenience

  • Six open-top burners (4 Pyromax at 40 000 BTU each, 2 Star/Sauté at 33 000 BTU each).
  • 271 000 BTU total input for unmatched throughput during peak periods.
  • 27"-deep cooking surface with removable, heavy-duty cast-iron grates—rear grates accept up to 14" stock pots.
  • Standing pilots for open burners; battery-spark ignition for the oven (no external power required).
  • 45 000 BTU standard oven (175 °F – 550 °F) with porcelain-enameled, coved interior and 1 heavy rack included.
  • Full-size stainless cabinet base—ideal for sheet pans, stock pots and smallwares; doors available at no charge upon request.
  • Front-mounted manual gas shut-off and factory-installed regulator for fast, code-compliant hook-up.
  • 22 ½" flue riser with integrated stainless utility shelf maximizes vertical space.
  • 4" stainless front rail protects controls and doubles as plating shelf.
  • 6" adjustable stainless legs (casters optional).
  • Full stainless front, sides and shelf for easy wipe-down and long service life.
