Engineered for the toughest ticket counts, the Southbend Ultimate 48" range couples blistering burner output with a high-performance convection oven and built-in storage. 258,000 total BTU and a rock-solid stainless-steel build keep your line moving smoothly from open to close.
Power & Versatility on the Cooktop
- (4) Pyromax™ open burners on the right – 40,000 BTU each, patented three-piece design resists clogging and wipes clean.
- (2) Cast-iron Star/Sauté burners on the left – 33,000 BTU each for fast, even heat under sauté pans or sauce pots.
- 27" deep cooking surface with heavy-duty removable grates accommodating stock pots up to 14".
- Standing pilots for instant ignition and a front-mounted manual gas shut-off for full-range control.
- 4" stainless rail protects the operator and provides plating space.
High-Efficiency Convection Oven
- 32,000 BTU burner with battery-spark ignition (no electrical pilot to maintain).
- Thermostat range: 175 °F – 550 °F.
- Porcelain-enameled cavity (14" H × 26" W × 24" D) with coved corners for easy cleaning and superior airflow.
- 1/2 HP, 1710 rpm fan motor with overload protection; blower switch allows standard-oven mode.
- Ships with (3) racks and 5-position side rails to handle full-size sheet pans both directions.
