Model 448AC – Pyromax / Wavy-Grate Top • Convection Oven • Cabinet Base

Purpose-built for high-volume kitchens, the Southbend Ultimate 48″ Range delivers massive fire-power, rock-solid construction, and the versatility to sauté, sear, simmer and bake from a single footprint. Four patented 40,000 BTU Pyromax burners on the right obliterate recovery lag, while two 27,000 BTU non-clog burners with wavy cast-iron grates on the left give you full-surface flexibility for saucepans and stock pots. Below, a battery-spark convection oven handles delicate pastries or full-size sheet pans, and an 18″ stainless cabinet keeps sheet pans, spice caddies or hotel pans close at hand.
