The Salvajor 100 is a 1 HP food waste disposer specified as a basic unit only. Its housing is permanently molded from heat-treated, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy.
The totally enclosed motor is water cooled and includes built-in manual reset thermal overload protection. The disposer uses an extended-lip water seal, tapered roller top bearing, sealed ball bottom bearing, and an 8-inch hardened carbide alloy shredder and rotor.
The unit requires 5 gallons of cold water per minute and has a rubber drain that accepts 2-inch piping. UL and CE certifications are specified for Model 100.
