Preserve the natural corrosion-resistance of stainless steel by cleaning with mild soap or a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, chlorine bleach and harsh chemicals. For stubborn stains, John Boos recommends Bar Keepers Friend followed by a food-safe stainless polish.
