Care & Maintenance
- For routine cleaning, wipe with clean water or a mild, non-chloride detergent using a soft towel or plastic scouring pad.
- Avoid wire brushes, metal scrapers, and abrasive cleaners that can damage the stainless steel’s passive film.
- Stubborn residue can be removed with Bar Keepers Friend, followed by thorough rinsing and John Boos Stainless Steel Cleaner.
- Always scrub and wipe in the direction of the stainless polish lines to maintain the finish.
Proper maintenance preserves the chromium-oxide barrier and maximizes the service life of your John Boos stainless equipment.
