Important: Maintain NSF compliance by re-oiling the maple top regularly. Applying a permanent clear coat (varnique) voids NSF certification.

Care & Maintenance

  • Clean the maple surface with a damp cloth; re-apply Boos Block Mystery Oil or Board Cream when the wood looks dry.
  • For stainless legs/bracing, wipe with non-chloride cleaners such as Bar Keepers Friend and polish along the grain with John Boos Stainless Steel Cleaner.
  • Avoid standing water, harsh chemicals or steel scouring pads.
