The Hatco HCWBIR-6DA combines the legendary FR2 Hydro-Heater hot well with a high-efficiency refrigerated cold well, all in a space-saving remote configuration that drops neatly into your counter and keeps food at safe, appetizing temperatures all day long.

- Dual-mode operation – switch between hot and cold with a single three-position rocker (HOT • OFF • COLD).
- Accommodates six full-size 12" × 20" pans (or assorted fractional pans) with included hot-mode frames and cold-mode pan support bars.
- Remote electronic control panel mounts up to 5 ft (1.5 m) away for front-of-house convenience.
- 20 ft (6.1 m) cord from control box to condenser and 50 ft (15.2 m) remote-mountable condensing unit give you unmatched layout flexibility.
- Cold mode uses an efficient R-513A refrigeration system with auto-defrost to maintain 10 – 50 °F (-12 – 10 °C) product temperatures.
- Hot mode relies on Hatco’s patented FR2 Hydro-Heater for even bain-marie heat, auto-fill and low-water cut-off; adjustable 65 – 192 °F (18 – 89 °C).
- Simple digital read-outs show actual and set temperatures for both modes.
- Automatic water fill and built-in drain speed daily operation and cleaning.

Cold Mode- Set-point factory-programmed to 32 °F (0 °C) – adjustable 10 – 50 °F.
- High-insulation well and optimized air blanket preserve product freshness.
- Auto-defrost cycle keeps frost off coils without manual intervention.
- FR2 “free-flow” water bath prevents hot spots and extends element life.
- Auto-fill and low-water safety cut-off = no burnt elements.
- Set-point factory-programmed to 192 °F (89 °C) – adjustable 65 – 192 °F.
