The Cool Trough® system is designed for a recessed concrete slab installation. It requires plumbing for a 1-inch water line and a 4-inch drain, and a backflow preventer must be installed by a plumbing contractor.
No, the Cool Trough® Water Tempering System features an integral mechanical temperature sensor and does not require an electrical connection for operation.
Eagle Group provides a limited warranty of one year from the date of original installation, not to exceed 18 months from the date of shipment from Eagle, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
An RPZ (Reduced Pressure Zone) valve, which acts as a backflow preventer, is supplied by Eagle. However, it must be installed by a plumbing contractor, mounted at least 12 inches above the trough flood level, and be accessible for testing and service.
The trough is constructed from durable 14 gauge 304 stainless steel, offering excellent resistance to corrosion and wear.
