Patented QuadTruss® Design

QuadTruss® 4-wire design (patent #5,390,803) increases shelf strength (up to ~25%) and provides a retaining ledge to help keep stored items in place.

High Load Capacity

Supports 800 lb evenly distributed static load for shelves up to 48" (363 kg). Shelving sets should not exceed 2400 lb per set of four posts.

EAGLEbrite® Zinc Finish

Bright zinc chloride plating with clear chromate and MasterSeal® sealer for improved rust protection; NSF-listed for dry storage environments.

Includes Split Sleeves

Each shelf includes four pairs of tapered, high-temperature-resistant ABS split sleeves to create a positive lock that becomes stronger as the load increases.

Tool-Free Assembly

Works with numerically grooved 1" O.D. posts (sold separately). Assembly: snap split sleeves onto post at desired height, then slide shelf collar over sleeves — creates a positive lock without tools.

Open-Wire Construction

Open-wire mat permits light transmission and air circulation, reducing moisture and dust build-up and improving effectiveness of fire-suppression systems.

1448Z is finished in EAGLEbrite® zinc (bright zinc chloride plating with clear chromate and MasterSeal® sealer). It is NSF-listed for dry storage environments. For wet or all-environment use consider Valu-Master/Valu-Gard epoxies, EAGLEgard® with MICROGARD®, or stainless steel variants (other model numbers).
Each shelf includes four pairs of tapered ABS split sleeves. Posts, shelf collars, casters and foot plates are sold separately.
48" (front-to-back 14") lengths are packed four to a box. Individual shelf weight is 10 lb.
