The D96GN is covered by a seven (7) year warranty on all parts, labor, and the R-290 compressor, effective from the date of installation, or eighty-seven (87) months from the date of shipment from Continental Refrigerator, whichever occurs first. This warranty is valid in the USA and Canada for the original purchaser.
To maintain warranty validity, proper maintenance and service, as detailed in the Continental Refrigerator Installation and Operations Manual, must be followed. Crucially, condenser coils must be cleaned regularly (recommended monthly) to prevent warranty voidance.
The warranty excludes normal wear parts (e.g., light bulbs, gaskets), issues arising from incorrect installation, negligent cleaning/maintenance, out-of-tolerance voltage, inadequate wiring, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or the use of non-OEM parts. It also does not cover routine adjustments like leveling or control settings.
