The D84GN comes with a seven (7) year parts, labor, and compressor warranty, effective from the date of installation or 87 months from the date of shipment, whichever comes first.
Purchasers must regularly clean condenser coils, with monthly cleaning being recommended in the manual, to avoid voiding the warranty. Failure to do so may result in improper operation not covered by the warranty.
This model utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is an environmentally friendly option.
The warranty can be voided by improper operation due to incorrect installation, negligent cleaning and maintenance, out-of-tolerance voltage conditions, inadequate wiring, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or the use of non-authorized services or non-OEM parts.
No, the warranty specifically excludes adjustments such as cabinet leveling, hinge modifications, caster or leg adjustments, and control settings. It also excludes damage from external water/moisture or improper cleaning.
