The D2FENSAHD freezer utilizes R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, an environmentally friendly option with excellent cooling performance.
This freezer comes with a comprehensive seven (7) year warranty covering parts, labor, and the compressor. This warranty begins from the date of installation or eighty-seven (87) months from the date of shipment from Continental Refrigerator, whichever occurs first.
To keep the warranty valid, purchasers must regularly clean the condenser coils. Monthly cleaning is specifically recommended in the installation and operations manual.
The warranty excludes routine adjustments such as cabinet leveling, hinge modifications, caster or leg adjustments, and control settings. It also does not cover damage from improper cleaning, unauthorized modifications, or out-of-tolerance voltage conditions.
Yes, improper operation due to incorrect installation, negligent cleaning, use of non-authorized services, use of non-OEM parts, and unauthorized modifications to the unit will void the warranty.
The warranty does not cover special installations or applications, including those in remote locations. Any additional work or travel required to access the unit for service in such circumstances would be the responsibility of the purchaser.
