Frequently Asked Questions

The Atlas Metal RM-4 requires a counter cut-out opening of 57 3/4 inches in width by 24 1/2 inches in depth (57-3/4"W x 24-1/2"D) for proper installation.
For optimal performance, turn the unit on one hour before serving. Ensure all food products are placed into the unit at 34-35 degrees Fahrenheit and are positioned at least 3 inches below the top of the unit. The unit is not designed for 24/7 operation.
It is recommended that the operator side of the counter where the unit is installed be completely open for air circulation. For island counter installations, provide two grill openings of approximately 18" x 18" each for air intake and exhaust at opposite ends, plus a 24" x 14" opening for compressor access for maintenance.
To clean, use soapy warm water and rinse thoroughly to remove all residues. Never use chloride-based products, steel wool, or abrasive products on the pans, as this can scar, mark, corrode, and potentially void the warranty. The condenser coil should also be cleaned regularly.
