Care & Maintenance
- Clean daily with mild soapy water or common, non-abrasive countertop cleaners.
- Avoid standing moisture; wipe spills promptly.
- If the top is cut or sanded, reseal immediately with a food-safe urethane gel finish.
- For unfinished tops, season with food-grade mineral oil once a day for the first week, once a week for the first month, and monthly thereafter.
Following these guidelines prevents cracking, warping and delamination, extending the life of your butcher-block surface.
