Wood Top Care & Cleaning
- Wipe daily with warm, soapy water or a mild kitchen counter cleaner; avoid abrasive powders.
- Don’t let standing water linger—dry the surface promptly after cleaning.
- Stubborn stains (e.g., wine) can be removed with a diluted bleach solution or nail-polish remover without harming the UV-cured finish.
- If the top is cut or sanded, reseal immediately with a food-safe urethane such as Wood Welded® Emmet’s Good Stuff® to prevent warping.
- For unfinished tops, season regularly with food-grade mineral oil following the “once a day for a week, once a week for a month, once a month forever” rule.
Modifying the top voids the factory warranty.
