Care & cleaning tips
- Wipe daily with mild soapy water or a standard countertop cleaner; avoid abrasives or powdered cleansers.
- Dry the surface promptly—standing moisture can damage wood.
- Stubborn stains (e.g., red wine) lift easily with a diluted bleach solution or nail-polish remover.
- If cutting, drilling or sanding is performed, re-seal immediately with Wood Welded® Emmet’s Good Stuff® urethane gel to prevent cracking or warping (modifications void warranty).
For unfinished butcher-block tops, season with food-grade mineral oil once a day for the first week, once a week for the first month, and monthly thereafter.
