The 3M™ ICE120-S is a single-vessel water filter system for commercial ice machines. Its nominal 0.5-micron filter is rated for 1.5 gpm and 9,000 gallons, with reduction claims for sediment, chlorine taste and odor, cyst, and scale.
The system includes a pressure gauge, integral mounting bracket, single o-ring seal cartridge filter, valve-in-head design, and internal automatic 1/4-turn shut-off valve. It connects through 3/8-inch FNPT inlet and outlet ports.
It is specified for cubers up to 750 lb (340 kg) and flakers up to 1,200 lb (544 kg). Maximum operating pressure is 125 psi and maximum operating temperature is 100°F. The system is NSF certified.

Scale inhibition
The filter cartridge incorporates a scale inhibitor that reduces the ability of calcium and magnesium to precipitate on evaporator plates as hard scale.
Valve-in-head design
The design simultaneously shuts off and vents water, allowing cartridge change-outs without shutting off the upstream feed water.
Sanitary Quick Change cartridge
The encapsulated cartridge design supports 1/4-turn change-outs and requires no contact with the filter media during replacement.
Pressure gauge and mounting bracket
The system includes a pressure gauge and an integral mounting bracket.
Plumbing connections
Horizontal inlet and outlet ports use 3/8-inch FNPT connections.
