The 3M Purification DF290-CLX dual-flow water filtration system supplies separate water streams for cold beverage, coffee, and ice applications. It reduces sediment, particulate, chloramine, chlorine taste and odor, cyst, and bacteria.
The system includes two HF90-CLX cartridges and one HF90-S-SR5 cartridge. The cold beverage stream combines chloramine, chlorine taste and odor, cyst, bacteria, and particulate reduction. The ice-machine stream combines cyst, bacteria, and particulate reduction with a scale inhibition medium; chlorine and chloramine are not reduced from this stream.
